Charles City, Iowa. Dec. 29. — Mrs. George Burns, prominent in church work, club and civic societies of the city, died yesterday at her home from pneumonia, following influenza. She was 62 years old.

Surviving are her husband and two sons, John and Owen; one brother, William, of Oklahoma, and four sisters, Mrs. Patsey Kelley, Castleton, N. D.; Mrs. Andrew Bulawa, Miss Emma Salmon and Sister Frances, all of this city.

Funeral services will be Monday morning at the Catholic church, Rev. W. J. Convery officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
