Funeral services were held Monday, May 11, 1987 at the Christian Church, Nora Springs, for Dustin James Hinders, 4 month-old son of Rodney and Peggy (Bierbrodt) Hinders of Rudd, Iowa. He died on Thursday, May 7, 1987 at his home. Rev. T. Johnson officiated, and burial was in the Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.

He was born on January 14, 1987, in Mason City, Iowa.

Survivors include his parents; a stepbrother, Brian John Hinders of Exeter, Nebraska; maternal grandparents, Al and Carol Bierbrodt of Nora Springs; paternal grandparents, Donald D. and Gloria Hinders; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Spoelstra of Worthington, Minnesota, and Edna Bierbrodt of Rochester, Minnesota, and paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Mills of Marshalltown, Iowa.
