H. B. HOLTHAUS DIES SUDDENLY AT FARM HOME

ROCKFORD, IOWA - Harley Benjamin Holthaus, 51, died suddenly Sunday at his home east of Rockford. He was born December 28, 1908, at Colesburg and came here 16 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Duesenberg; three children, Donald, Lester and Marilyn, all at home; his father Ben Holthaus, at Colesburg; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Flood Creek Church, of which he was president of the board. The Rev. Earl Streyffeler, Charles City, will officiate. Burial will be in the Flood Creek Cemetery, with Weaver Funeral Hone in charge.
