Funeral services for Nicholas J. Lawless, 58, will be held Friday morning in the Catholic Church with Monsignor W. J. Convery officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Lawless died Tuesday at his home, 1105 Beck Street, following a long illness from heart trouble. He was formerly a farmer and moved to Charles City a year ago.

Surviving are his wife and four daughters: Mrs. Clayton Fike, Catherine and Esther, all of Charles City, and Mrs. Peter Marzen, Marble Rock.
