Mrs. Volbrecht Rites To

Be Held Tuesday at

Lutheran Church

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Fredericks Volbrecht, 78, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Lutheran Church with the Rev. Prottengeier officiating, followed by burial in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Volbrecht died at her home, 221 S. Main Street, Sunday morning. She had been in failing health for several years, and approaching blindness confined her in her home a great deal of the time. Her daughter, Mrs. Ann Tait, moved here from Mason City to assist in the care of her mother.

Mrs. Volbrecht is survived by her husband, Gustave, and seven daughters, besides several grandchildren. Her daughters are Mrs. Tait, Mrs. G.R. Gruhm, Waterloo; Mrs. H.C. Meyer, Mason City, Mrs. W.L. Griffin, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. C.L. Hilton, Colfax, Sask., Canada; Mrs. Ed Togsted and Mrs. C.A. Spotts, both of Charles City.
