Linda Harris, 60, of Charles City died July 9, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services for Linda Harris will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Sister Diana Blong will officiate. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Linda Jean Harris was born July 17, 1952, at Charles City, the daughter of William and Mary (McCauley) Harris. She was raised in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School in 1970. After high school Linda traveled and worked throughout Iowa. She was a very free spirit who was friendly to everyone. Linda loved all animals, but had a very soft spot in her heart for her dog, Mickey. She had a very do-it-yourself attitude and liked working with motorcycles and cars.

Living family members include her daughter, Jessica Harris of Charles City; mother, Mary Harris of Charles City; brother, Jim Harris of Nashua; three sisters, Jody (Jim) Ehler of Solon, Jenny (Tom) Covington of Brandon and Kathy Harris of Charles City; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father.
