MRS. CHAMBERS RITES SUNDAY

Funeral for Rockford Woman, 83, to Be at Church and Residence

ROCKFORD--Funeral services for Mrs. William Chambers, 83, who died at her home here Thursday evening, following a short illness of heart disease, will be held at the Methodist church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with a brief service at the home at 1:30.

The service will be conducted by the Rev. Charles G. Fort and burial will be in Ulster cemetery.

She was born in Berlin, Germany, on May 11, 1858, and came to America with her parents at the age of 23 and settled on a farm near Rudd where she resided until her marriage to William Chambers in 1882 and they lived on a farm near Rockford. She had lived in Rockford for the past 44 years.

She is survived by her son, Fred, and daughter, Bertha, of Rockford, and two daughters, Mrs. A.F. Harris of Karvill, Colo., and Mrs. Raymond Daniels of Rochester, N.Y., also 11 grandchildren.
