HOLD RITES OF RUDD RESIDENT
Mrs. Lucinda Utter, Pioneer, Is Buried in Ulster Cemetery
RUDD--Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church here for Mrs. Lucinda Utter, 80, Cedar Falls, officiating. Mrs. William Hans, Mrs. I.W. Edie, Ernest Ryner and Ivan Bartz sang with Mrs. Helmuth Kamin as pianist.
Pallbearers were Bert, Irving, Charlie, John, Clyde and Clifford Crowell. Burial was in the Ulster cemetery.
She was born in a log cabin on a farm one mile east and one and one-half miles south of Rudd. In this vicinity her whole life was spent.
Surviving are six children, Jesse and Howard of Rockford; Phil and Opal of Mason City; Jan of Emmetsburg and Mrs. O.E. McCroskey of Rudd; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. J.D. Utter of Rudd.
