Rites at Nora Springs for Pump Repair Man
Nora Springs--John Warren, 80, died Thursday evening at the Wass nursing home in Mason City, where he had been a patient for 3 weeks.
Funeral services were held at the Sheckler funeral home Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Robert Davies, Methodist pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Ulster township cemetery.
He was well known in his section, having spent his entire life in Ulster township and the town of Nora Springs, first as a farmer and later as a pump repair man.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. William Benning, Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Charles Kemp of Charles City. There are also 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy Sette, in California, and Mrs. Ralph Sanford of Elmore, Minn. His wife died in 1938.
