Mitchell Man Dies, Resident 30 Years

Mitchell, Ia.--Charles Rose, 70, died at his home here from heart disease, from which he suffered a long time. The family has resided here for the past 30 years. Besides his widow, he is survived by seven children, as follows: Mrs. C.W. Contelle, Elkart, Ia., Miss Cala Rose, Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Harey [Harlen] Kemp, Mitchell; Mrs. Harry Hoover, Owatonna, Minn.; Mrs. Gene Petenka, Rochester, Minn.; Delos and Kenneth Rose, Mitchell. All of the children were at the home at the time of death.

Mr. Rose was born April 8, 1862, at Kirksville, Mo. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Mr. Anderson, with Masonic rites at the Rudd cemetery.
