Kerosene Drink Kills Rudd Baby

Charles City, Ia.--Eugene Steven Ebens, 20-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ebens residing northeast of Rudd, died here Sunday morning at 2 o'clock in Cedar Valley hospital as result of drinking kerosene on Saturday afternoon. He was brought to the hospital here and given a blood transfusion. He was the only child. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Rudd Methodist church with Rev. F.O. Hillman officiating and burial will be in the Rudd cemetery.
