NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Oct 3--Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Schroll, 83, were held at the Martin-Sheckler funeral home Tuesday morning conducted by the Rev. Paul J. LaValette of Rockford. Burial was in the Rudd cemetery.

Mrs. Schroll, whose maiden name was Margaret Jane Skelton, was born near Burlington July 1, 1851, and died Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Will Tibbets, Sr., 5 miles northeast of Nora Springs, where she had made her home the past three years, coming from Danville, Ill., where most of her life was spent.

On Feb. 4, 1905, she was married to Jacob Schroll who had waited for her for 40 years. She took care of her parents as long as they lived then married the man of her choice. She was a member of the Catholic church at Danville, Ill. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Will Tibbets of Nora Springs and Mrs. J. W. Zillis of Danville, Ill., and several nieces and nephews.
