Rex Funeral Held at Marble Rock

Marble Bock, Iowa - The funeral of Samuel J. Rex who died at a Waterloo hospital Sunday, was conducted Wednesday, afternoon, at the Christian Church here by Rev. G. A. Hess, Charles City.

Mr. Rex was a native of this community and a former teacher in Marble Rock and other Floyd county schools for years. He had spent 30 years as superintendent of the Sunday school of the Christian church.

Surviving are his widow, two sisters and four brothers: Mrs. George Ritter, Mrs. Justin Haynes, C. T. Rex, and Rant Rex, all of Marble Rock; Clyde Rex, Webster City, and Dr. C. C. Rex, Alamosa, Colorado.
