Lillian (Meade) Dight – July 22, 1886 – May 31, 1962

LILLIAN DIGHT RITES MONDAY AT CHARLES CITY

Charles City – Mrs. Lillian Dight, 75, died Thursday at the Cedar Valley Hospital here. She had lived in Ulster Township the last 30 years.
She was born in Somersetshire, England and was married to Thomas G. Dight, July 2, 1910 in Joliet, Illinois.

Surviving are a son, Howard H. living on the home farm 9 ½ miles west of Charles City; four grandsons; a great-granddaughter; two sisters; Mrs. Emma Garrish, Scranton, Iowa; Mrs. George Caraboa, Indianapolis, Indiana; and a brother; Bert Meade, Gardner, Illinois.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Near Floyd.
