CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Leanne Hahn, 68, of Charles City, died on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Cedar Health in Charles City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Wayne Stufflebeam will officiate. Burial will be in Flood Creek Cemetery, rural Rockford. Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home today, Tuesday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Wednesday an hour prior to the service.

Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, 641-228-2323, is in charge of arrangements.

Leanne Hahn, 68, of Charles City, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Cedar Health in Charles City.

Funeral services for Leanne Hahn will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Wayne Stufflebeam will officiate. Burial will be in Flood Creek Cemetery, rural Rockford.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home Tuesday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Wednesday an hour prior to the service.

Leanne Lois Buttjer Hahn was born January 18, 1944, the daughter of Newton and Esther (Duesenberg) Hahn. She graduated from Charles City High School in 1963. On October 26, 1975 she married Larry Buttjer at the West Saint Charles Church. Leanne worked at Trowbridges Bakery for a brief time before becoming a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed reading especially the bible, playing solitaire, crossword puzzles, cross-stitch, Christian music, volunteering at church, and spending time with her family. Leanne was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Charles City.

Living family members include daughters, Jean Schaefer of Hampton, and Angela (Johnny) Jackson of McDonough, GA.; grandchildren, Quintarus J., Kevonne L., and Tyrek D. Jackson, and a brother Harold (Nancy) Hahn of Charles City.

he was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Larry on November 16, 1986.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Wesleyan Church, 913 S. Main Street, Charles City, 50616, or the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
