DEATH OF ROCKFORD PIONEER

Mrs. S.B. Cogswell Passes Away - Has Numerous Relatives

Rockford, Iowa, July 7 - The remains of Mrs. S. B. Cogswell, who died Saturday, were interred in the cemetery at this place today. The funeral service was held in the M.E. church. Mr. S. B. Cogswell survives his wife. The three children are all married and live here. There is perhaps no family in Rockford with such a large circle of relatives living here as this family. Mr. Cogswell is the senior member of the firm of Mitchell & Cogswell, grocers.

Frances M Hubbard was born October 1, 1841 in Wales, the daughter of Seneca Hubbard and Louisa (Perry) Hubbard.

She married Stephen Bush Cogswell, the son of Simon Cogswell and Rebecca (Bush) Cogswell.
