WIFE OF FLOYD AUDITOR DIES
FUNERAL SERV ICES OF MRS. GUS MICHELL OF ROCKFORD WEDNESDAYRockford – word was received here Monday of the death at Waterloo at 7 o’clock Monday morning of Mrs. Gus Michell, 70, wife of the auditor of Floyd County. Mrs. Michell died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Shear, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the Rockford Methodist Church, with the Rev. C. G. Fort officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, who is confined to his home recovering from a recent operation; two sons; Glenn and Burr, both of Rockford; two daughters; Mrs. Shear and Mrs. Kitty Benziger, the latter of Marshalltown; a sister; Mrs. George Kuck of Cedar Falls, and six grandchildren.

Mina Ella Cogswell was born November 23, 1869 in Ogle County, Illinois, the daughter of Stephen Bush Cogswell and Frances (Hubbard) Cogswell.
She married Gustave “Gus” Michell, the son of August Michell and Wilhelmina (Rodrian) Michell
