SCHEIDECKER FUNERAL WILL BE HELD FRIDAY

Charles City – Funeral services for George J. Scheidecker will be held Friday afternoon in the Central Methodist Church with the Rev. W. F. Belling officiating.

Mr. Scheidecker died in the Cedar Valley Hospital Wednesday as the result of a stroke. Last summer he fell from a barn and fractured his leg and the injury confined him to his bed. Mr. Scheidecker had lived in Charles City 10 years and Floyd County 53 years. The major portion of his life was spent on a farm in Riverton Township.

Surviving are his wife, one son, George, Jr., and three daughters; Mrs. Christina Stock, Charles City; Mrs. Anna Bjorkman, Floyd; and Mrs. Marie Litterer, Clarksville.

The body is at the Hauser Funeral Home and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
