IRL TREVETT FUNERAL SET FOR MONDAY

Irl R. Trevett, 69, retired farmer of rural Rockwell, died Friday morning at a Mason City Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of the Rockwell community.

Mr. Trevett was born January 24, 1893 in Owen Township, son of George and Jennie (Latham) Trevett. He was married to Bertha D. Carstens, November 24, 1915, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Carstens, Burchinal.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Orlwin Trevett, Rockford; a daughter; Mrs. Donald (Ileen) Newman, Rockwell ; six grandchildren and a brother; Benjamin Trevett, Antioch, California. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Mr. Trevett was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Paterson-James Chapel in Mason City. The Rev. Lloyd C. Kellams, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the chapel after 7 p.m. Saturday.

In 1910 Irl was living in Rockford, Floyd County, Iowa. His father George Charles Trevett and mother Jennie (Latham) Trevett, and brother Arthur are buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Floyd, Iowa.
