Robert C. Willert – 1921 -- 1927

The death angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willert last Monday and took their little invalid son, Robert, aged five and one-half years.

Baby Robert has been helpless since birth, being deaf, dumb and blind, but received the most tender care of his parents and two brothers who will now miss the baby in the home.

The parents have not spared time or means for medical treatment in trying to restore the child’s impaired senses, but of no avail, but will always have the comforting assurance of the Master’s words: “What ye have done onto the least of these ye have done unto me.”

The funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday afternoon and burial in the Rockford Cemetery.
