BUSINESSMAN AT ROCKFORD DIES
LEONARD WEIGAND, 71, TAILOR SUCCUMBS AT HOSPITAL IN IOWA CITY

Rockford, Aug. 13 – Leonard Weigand, 71, who was in business here nearly 50 years, died Monday night at the University Hospital at Iowa city.

He was taken there Friday and submitted to an operation. Plural pneumonia followed.

Mr. Weigand, who was a tailor, is survived by his wife, three sons; Carl of Minneapolis; Clarence of Rockford; Harold of Mason City; and a brother, George of Daugherty.
