Funeral to Be Friday for Former Resident

Charles City, Iowa — Funeral service for James Ruzicka, 73, formerly of Charles City, who died Sunday in Pomona, California, will be at 9 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Rooney, officiating, and burial in Calvary cemetery.

His wife Mary Katherine died June 5, 1930.

He is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Oscar Wolf, of Ames, Mrs. Ed Willett, of Winnepeg, Canada, Mrs. Clarence Pfundstein, Chicago, Illinois; a son, Irwin Ruzicka, Pomona, California; a brother, John Ruzicka, of Calmar, and 12 grandchildren.
