Grace Bishop, 61, of RR 2, Nora Springs, Iowa, died on Wednesday, April 24, 1991 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 27, 1991, at the Christian Church of Nora Springs, with Pastor S. Sorensen officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd.

Mrs. Bishop was born on July 23, 1929 in Blackhawk County, Iowa, a daughter of Kneal and Minnie (Rieners) Hinders. She worked as a nurses aide at Mercy Hospital, Waverly, for several years and later at Liberty Square Care Center in Nora Springs.

She married Bob Bishop on August 25, 1957 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. She enjoyed farming with her husband, her family and making quilts.

Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Bishop, Nora Springs; one son, Bill Bishop, and his wife Sue, Readlyn, Iowa; five grandchildren: Allan, Jeremy, Amber, Shawn, and Matthew Bishop; three sisters: Mrs. Harold (Anna) Arnold of Maple, Wisconsin, Mrs. Jess (Minnie) Gilley of Waverly, Louise Haberling of Superior, Wisconsin; and three brothers: Claus Hinders and Reiner Hinders of Waverly, and Kneal Hinders of Hollandale, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kneal and Minnie (Rieners) Hinders; one sister, Florence Poppen; and one nephew, Steve Hinders.
