Robert J. Cerwinske, 79, of Rudd, died on Saturday, February 23, 1991, at the North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Rudd United Methodist Church, with Rev. M. Reth officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.

Mr. Cerwinske was born on October 8, 1911 in rural Rockford, to Frederick M. and Nellie (Krause) Cerwinske.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy H. Cerwinske, of Rudd; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Carroll, O'Neill, Nebraska; one son, Allan R. Cerwinske, rural Rockford; and two brothers, Gilbert of Union, New Jersey, and Herbert of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
