RUDD WOMAN’S FUNERAL HELD
MRS. S. A. KINGSBURY RITES HELD IN NORA SPRINGS FUNERAL HOME

Rudd – Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Sheckler Funeral Home in Nora Springs for Mrs. S. A. Kingsbury with the Rev. S. J. Baldwin officiating.

Pallbearers were Otto Kollmann, W. J. Frevert, Henry Stuckrad and Frank Birkholz.
Miss Norma and Normand Helmers sang, with Miss Charlotte Hess as accompanist. Mrs. Anna Hodge and Mr. and Mrs. Berl Stalker were the members of the flower committee.
Burial was in the Rudd Cemetery.

Her three sons, Thomas Warren of California; Daniel Glen of Rudd; and Joseph Wayne of Illinois, all survive.

She is also survived by two brothers, Dexter Dean of Rudd and Daniel Dean of Nora Springs, and one sister; Alta Losee of Riceville.
There are 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sarah Augusta Dean was born January 11, 1855 in DeKalb Co., Illinois, the daughter of Thomas Dean and Welthy (Witter) Dean.

She married Joseph Warren Kingsbury, the son of Daniel Biscoe Kingsbury and Melinda (Morris) Kingsbury.
