Ecco D. Cates, 95, of Marble Rock, Iowa, died on Friday, march 22, 1991 at North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on Monday at Reid's Funeral Chapel in Greene, with Rev. R. Johnson of the United Methodist Church Greene, officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Marble Rock.

Ecco D. Cates was born July 11, 1895, in Scott Township, Floyd County, Iowa.

Survivors include two sisters, Orpha Truex and Ilo Bass, both of Greene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleland, in 1957; two brothers; and one sister.
