Mrs. Robert (Jean) Boekemeier, 55, of rural Rockford, died on Saturday, November 2, 1991, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Wesleyan Church in Charles City, with Rev. N. Koppen officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Mason City.

Jean Arlene (Bryant) Boekemeier was born on August 30, 1936 in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Marjory (Bouck) Bryant. She graduated from Mason City High School and attended Mason City Junior College and Hamilton Business College.

On August 31, 1957, she was married to Spenser Harnack**.

She was united in marriage to Robert Boekemeier on February 23, 1986.

She attended the Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Rockford; one son, Seth Harnack of St. Louis Missouri; a step-son, Russell Boekemeier of Waterloo; one step-daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Marie) Frenz, For Madison; her father, Ralph Bryant, Charles City; three brothers: Dennis Bryant of Mason City, Jerry Bryant of Monticello, Florida, and Seth Bryant, Charles City; . . . two step-grandsons, Curtis Boekemeier and Anthony Frenz.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
