Daisy M. Boeck, 94, of Nora Springs, died on Sunday, March 31, 1991, at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Nora Springs, with the Rev. C. Clarkson officiating. Burial was in the Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Boeck, the daughter of August and Bertha (Luttrell) Behrendt, was born on August 23, 1896, at Poag, Illinois. She was orphaned at the age of two and was raised by her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Luttrell.

She married Homer Holt on March 4, 1916. She later married Clarence H. Boeck on June 3, 1936.

Mrs. Boeck was a very active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Nora Springs, and Friendly Circle, also of the church, until her health prevented her from participating in various church activities. She also enjoyed fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Altman, Nora Springs; and nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence H. Boeck, on January 28, 1964; one daughter, Bertha Graves; and by one brother, Elmer Behrendt.
