TED. H. ARNDT DEAD

Ted H. Arndt Sr., Nora Springs, Iowa, died on Thursday, March 7, 1991, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Monday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Nora Springs, with Rev. C. Clarkson officiating. Burial was in the Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

Mr. Arndt was born April 23, 1907, in Elmore, Minnesota, to Fred and Kate Arndt. He married Margaret Nelsen on January 19, 1934, in Mason City.

He worked at Northwestern Cement Plant for 16 years, then as a truck driver for the Portland Elevator, Benn and Willemsen Produce Co., Kelley Truck Lines and the Nora Springs Coop. He retired in 1973 and continued to work part-time for the Nora Springs Coop. until 1984.

Mr. Arndt was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret, Nora Springs; three daughters: Phyllis Kelley and Marlys Kramm, both of Nora Springs, and Peggy Majewski of Evansdale; three sons: Morris Arndt of Portland, Ted Jr. and Bruce Arndt, both of Nora Springs; one sister, Eva Tesch, Blue Earth, Minnesota; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kathy Lou, one son, Harold; and three brothers: Lawrence, Clarence and Glen.
