Jordan Arends, 6, of Rockford, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 6, 1991 at Mercy Hospital in Mason City, following a pedestrian-school bus accident.

A funeral mass was held on Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Roseville, Iowa, with the Rev. E. Petty officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, John and Rochelle, Rockford; two brothers, Joshua and Jamison, both at home; paternal grandparents, John and Marilyn Arends, Rockford; maternal grandparents, David and Patricia Schlader, Marble Rock; and his maternal great-grandmother, Rosalie Woodhouse, Mason City.
