Powersvllle Woman Dies

Mrs. Adelia Brownell passed away Saturday at the home of her son, W. H. Brownell, near Powersville after being confined to her bed most of tbe time for 14 months after a fall which broke her hip.

Deceased was tbe wife of Fletcher Brownell, who died Aug. 19, 1906. Her maiden name was Zada Adelia Salisbury and she was born in New York state August 26, 1838.

Shortly after her marriage to Fletcher Brownell she came with him to Iowa, settling on the farm where she died.

Surviving her are two sons, W. H., on the farm, and D. L., of Charles City.

The funeral was held from the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the interment was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
