FRANK J HERBER DIES AT 93, RITES FRIDAY

CHARLES CITY - Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home for Frank J. Herber, 93. He died at the Cedar Valley Hospital Wednesday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

He was a farmer and operated the dray line with his brother, Charles; was in the ice business, deputy sheriff one year and also water superintendent during his residence in Charles City. He was married to Katherine Bluhm in Charles City in 1920.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emma Havner, Charles City; two step-sons, Glen Bluhm, Jackson, Minn., and Edward Bluhm, Phoenix, Ariz.
