William Harold Paulus – May 1, 1897 – March 5, 1962

Rockford - William H. Paulus, 64, died of a heart attack, here Monday. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m.at the Holy Name Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. G.C. Lattner will officiate. The Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Born May 1, 1897 in Rockford Township, he was the son of Frank and Lillian Paulus. He had lived in this vicinity all his life. He was married Jan 28, 1918 to Alma Casperson at Rockford.

Surviving are his wife, six sons, Thomas; Aredale; Arlyn, Mason City; Dale, Daniel and Calvin, Seattle, Washington; Robert, Rockford; three daughters, Mrs. Berl Patten, Mason City; Mrs. Harold Weaver, Cartersville; Mrs. Wesley Koebreck, Seattle; 26 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Frank, Charles City; Phillip, Bassett; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Casperson, New Hampton, Mrs. Leroy Gross, Kasson, Minn.
