Vernon C. Knoop, 83, of Rockford, died Thursday, December 10, 1992, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Schumburg Funeral Home. Rev. M. Grismore of the Faith Baptist Church of Mason City officiated, and burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Survivors include his wife, Frances K. Knoop of Rockford; one daughter, Katherine Ogilvie of Marble Rock; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
