A Mass of the Ressurection for Beatrice K. Hermann, 63, of rural Rockford was held on Saturday, January 11, 1992, at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Roseville with Rev. Carlton Hermann and Rev. Edward Petty as concelebrants of the Mass. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery at Roseville. Reid's Funeral Chapel of Marble Rock was in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Kathryn Hermann was born on September 7, 1928 in Ulster Township, Floyd County, Iowa, a daughter of Carl J. and Lydia B. (Vala) Hermann and died Wednesday, January 8, 1992, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, after a short illness.

She received her education at St. Mary's School in Roseville and later remained home on the family farm, where she helped her parents throughout the years.

Beatrice had a great love for art, in which she painted many wildlife paintings. Much of her training was acquired through the Art Institute of Minneapolis. She had a special interest in animals and cared for her pets on the farm.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Roseville, a member of the Rosary Society, and sang in the church choir for many years.

Survivors include her mother, Lydia of rural Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Florence) Kactro of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Martin (Joan) Mazourek of Omaha, Nebraska; one brother, Rev. Carlton P. Hermann of Tabor South Dakota; four nieces, one nephew and two step-nieces.
