Jennie (Logan) Flynn – May 17, 1883 – April 8, 1951

CHARLES CITY WOMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL; FUNERAL WEDNESDAY

Charles City – funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church here for Mrs. Jennie L. Flynn, 67, who died in the Cedar Valley Hospital Sunday night. Mrs. Flynn’s nephew, the Rev. Leo Logan, officiated and burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery at Greene.

Mrs. Flynn had been a resident of Charles City until 4 years ago, living near Nashua since that time. She had been ill since the first of the year and had undergone surgery.

Mrs. Flynn was born May 17, 1883, at Parkersburg, daughter of Michael and Katherine (Dailey) Logan, and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include 5 daughters; Mrs. Katherine Clay, Mason City; Mrs. Mildred Fink, Osage; Mrs. Nettie Smith and Mrs. Agnes Damro, both of Charles City; and Mrs. Francis Ferch, Waterloo; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Grossmann’s of Charles City were in charge of arrangements.
