EMMETT WILLIAM FLYNN

October 4, 1876 – July 31, 1973

CHARLES CITY - Services for Emmett William Flynn, 96, who died Tuesday at a Charles City nursing home, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Scripture service will be at at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hage Funeral Home with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Greene.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Gale Clay of Mason City, Mrs. Harry Smith of Charles City, Mrs. Dale Fink of Nora Springs, Mrs. Herb Damro and Mrs. Kenneth Ferch, both of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Willard Flynn of Allison, and two sisters, Genevieve Flynn of Allison and Mrs. Will Gannon of Des Moines.
