Orville Brunner, 73, of rural Marble Rock, Iowa, died Friday, April 17, 1992, at his home.

A funeral Mass was held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greene, with Monsignor W. Brunkan officiating. Following services the body was cremated. Burial was at St. John's Cemetery, rural Greene. Military rites were conducted by Tack Barnett Post 268, American Legion of Greene.

Orville Brunner was born on January 15, 1919, in Union Township, Floyd County, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Lynette Brunner of Marble Rock and Jolene Stotler of Greene; two sons, Duane of Marble Rock and Steven of Plainfield; six grandchildren; three sisters: Merna Teeple of Greene, Marie Ackley of Chilicothe, Illinois, and Elizabeth "Betty" Stanbrough of Bristow; and two brothers, Nick and Merlyn Brunner, both of Marble Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, one brother and one sister.
