Russell J. Brunner, 88, died on February 17, 1992 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, at the United Methodist Church in Nora Springs, with visitation one and one half hours before the service at the church. Pastor R. Pippert will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at Marble Rock.

Russell was born on February 10, 1904, in Marble Rock, the son of L.D. and Bellie (Achley) Brunner. He farmed all his life. He was a member of the united Methodist Church and was on the church board.

He is survived by one sister, Marjorie M. Brunner of Nora Springs.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
