Myrtie Bartz, 90, formerly of Rudd, Iowa, died on Sunday, November 8, 1992, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Home in Charles City, Iowa. Her funeral services were held on Saturday, November 14, 1992, at the United methodist Church in Rudd, with Rev. M. Reth officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Rudd.

Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, was in charge of arrangements.

Myrtie Pearl (Bennett) was born at Rudd, Iowa, on October 28, 1902.

Her survivors include one daughter, June B. Winkel of Casper, Wyoming, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, one son and a twin sister.
