Emma J. Bass, 87, of Rudd, Iowa, died Friday, April 17, 1992 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on Monday at Sheckler's Colonial Chapel in Nora Springs, with Rev. D. Grimm officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Rudd.

Emma Bass was born on August 7, 1904 in Rudd, Iowa.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell an Eldon, both of Rockford; two sisters, Gertrude Sanford of Nora Springs and Opal Squier of Gaylord, Minnesota; and nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and three sisters.
