Casket Bearers: Dale Witter, Donald Smith, LaVerne Bakeman, Delmer Fisher, Leo Zubrod, George Tumilson. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Iowa.

Services Held for Mrs. Govro Funeral services were held Wednesday (today) at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Ida Govro, who died Monday at the Rockford Convalescent home, at the age of 85 years.

The Rev. Amedee Fredette of Nora Springs officiated at the service at Weaver Funeral Home. Music was furnished by Mrs. Caroline Houts at the organ, with Mrs. Birdie Mosher, vocalist.
Interment was in Riverside cemetery, Rockford. Casket bearers were Dale Witter, Donald Smith, LaVerne Bakeman, Delmer Fisher, Leo Zubrod, and George Tumilson.

Mrs. Govro was born August 5, 1878, at Westford, Wisconsin. In October, 1878, when she was two months old, she came to Nora Springs with her parents. On November 26, 1896, she was united in marriage to John Jerome Govro at Mason City. To this union four children were born. Kenneth, Virgil, Madge and Vivian, all surviving.

Mrs. Govro suffered a severe stroke on August 1, from which she never regained. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors for over 60 years, a member of Rebekah Lodge for over 40 years, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Children, who survive are: Kenneth, Miami, Florida; Virgil, Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. Henry (Madge) Ewald, Marble Rock, and Mrs. Oliver "Jack" (Vivian) Field, Rockford. Also surviving are two grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers.

She was buried on August 14, 1963 in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Floyd, Iowa.
