MRS. NETTIE HOF DIES AT HOME IN MINNESOTA

Nora Springs – Mrs. Nettie Hof, 77, who died Monday night at Hastings, Minnesota, was brought to Nora Springs Wednesday by F. R. Sheckler and Sons. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of the Rev. and Mrs. A. B. Swan of San Francisco, California.

Mrs. Swan is Mrs. Hof’s only child. The services will be held in the local Evangelical Church and Interment will be in Park Cemetery, at the side of her husband.

Mrs. Hof, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Ladwig, lived between Nora Springs and Mason City. Following her marriage to Dave Hof, they made their home in Nora Springs for many years. Her entire life was spent here with the exception of the last 10 years part of which was spent in her daughter’s home and the past few years at Hastings.
Mrs.. Andrew Schlosser of Nora Springs is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Hof.

Nettie Ladwig was born January 9, 1867 in Iowa, the daughter of Christian Ladwig and Anna Regina (Bauer) Ladwig. She married David Hof, the son of John and Mary Barbara (Cawelti) Hof.
