MRS. GLOCK OF ROCKFORD DIES
FUNERAL FOR ROCKFORD WOMAN TO BE HELD SATURDAY AT HOME, CHURCH

Rockford, May 31 – funeral services for Mrs. John Glock, Sr., 75, who died at her home here late Wednesday, will be held at the Methodist Church on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with a short service at the home at 2 p.m. Mrs. Glock was in failing health several years but her condition was not considered serious until two weeks ago. Death was due to heart disease.

Mrs. Glock who was before her marriage, Lou Emma Kathryn Allen was born February 27, 1860, at McVeyton, Pennsylvania, and was married to John Glock, April 24, 1890 at Aughwick Mills, Pennsylvania. They came with their family to Rockford in 1914.

She is survived by her daughters; Mrs. Addah Siefkin of Rockford; Mrs. Sarah Williams of Lime Springs; Mrs. Carrie Cheney of Waterloo; two sons; Porter and John of Rockford; four sisters; Mrs. Will Young and Martha Allen, of Rockford; Mrs. Clara Thatcher, Floyd; and Mrs. Ada Hill Nora Springs; and two brothers; Porter Allen, Rockford and Mike Allen, Rudd.

Mr. Glock preceded her in death in October, 1931. The Rev. C. e. Luce, a former pastor of the Methodist Church here and now of Traer, will conduct the funeral service, and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
