Henry Bonewitz – July 18, 1872 – September 9, 1942

BONEWITZ, RUDD RESIDENT, DIES

Rudd – funeral arrangements are being made for Henry Bonewitz, 70, who died Wednesday morning in a Charles City hospital.
Mr. Bonewitz was born in Germany in July, 1872. He was married to Josephine Victoria Kuhlmeier February 15, 1900, in Ackley, where they lived for a short time.

Later they moved to Wheaton, Minnesota, where they made their home until they came to Rudd in 1907. Mr. Bonewitz spent the last 35 years in Rudd and vicinity.

He was preceded in death by his wife who died three years ago.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Al Goesch of Nebraska and Mrs. Dick Bohlen of Colwell; one son; Oliver of Rudd and four grandchildren. One son, Harold died in infancy.
