61 YEAR OLD WOMAN FROM ROCKFORD
DIES FOLLOWING ILLNESSROCKFORD, IOWA – Funeral services for Mr. Clifford J. Crowell, 61, who died Thursday evening at Des Moines following a several month’s illness will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock at Holy Name Catholic church with the Re. Father Paul J. LaValette in charge. Burial will be at Riverside, Rockford.
Mrs. Crowell, nee rose Murphy, was born in Floyd County August 18, 1880, and attended its schools. In July, 1904, she was married to Clifford J. Crowell of Rockwell where they have since made their home.
She is survived by her husband, one sister; Mrs. Catherine Westphal, Stanwood; two brothers; Clem Murphy, Washington, D.C.; and Ed Murphy, Rockford; and one niece; Laura Belle Murphy, who made her home with her.
