MAN AT RUDD POISONS SELF
PETER J. SCHWEIZER SAID TO HAVE BEEN DESPONDENT OVER HEALTHRudd, May 10 – Peter J. Schweizer, 69, who lived a mile north and two miles east of Rudd, died yesterday of self- administered poison, according to Coroner Charles Snyder who was called on the case. Despondence from ill health was given as the cause.
Surviving are his wife and four children; Mrs. Emma Connell and Mrs. P.V. Miller of Arnolds Park; William, who resides on a farm northeast of Rudd; and Dr. R. F. Schweizer, dentist in Rudd. There are eight grandchildren.
No funeral arrangements have been made, awaiting word from relatives at a distance. His wish was that there should be no flowers at his funeral except one flower in the buttonhole of his coat.

P. J. SCHWEIZER RITES ARE CONDUCTED IN RUDD
Rudd, May 11 – Funeral services for P. J. Schweizer were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the M. E. church, the Rev. Clarence Budensick and the Rev. H. F. Mercer in charge.
A male quartet, Ivan Bartz, Kenneth Ell, Paul Stalker and William Willett sang, with Mrs. H. F. Mercer as accompanist.
