Wayne Arnold Garren – January 31, 1897 – February 19, 1962
WAYNE A. GARREN DIES AT FLOYD; RITES AT RIPPEY
Floyd – Wayne A. Garren, 65, a resident of Floyd the last four years, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edwin Montgomery.
Garren and his wife had been living at their daughter’s home for some time. Death was attributed to lung cancer.
Garren, who had been in poor health for some time, was employed at the Heckman and Reynolds and the Van-Wen Implement Co., Charles City, until his health failed.
He is survived by his wife, Goldie, a daughter and a grandson, all of Floyd.
The Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, was in charge here and the Slininger Funeral Home at Jefferson. Funeral services and burial will be in Rippey.
