Clair Luverne Blunt – April 22, 1923 – February 18, 1962

C. L. BLUNT DIES IN CALIFORNIA; RITES IN RUDD

Rudd –Clair Luverne Blunt, 38, died Sunday at the Armstrong Mortuary in Los Angeles, where he was employed as a mortician. Funeral services will be held at the Rudd Methodist Church Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Paul Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery here with Sheckler Funeral Home in charge.

Born in Rudd, April 22, 1923 he has been in California since he was in service.

Surviving are his wife, Laurinda (Margie); a daughter; Jeanette; a son, Clair Steven, all of Englewood, California; his mother; Mrs. Bertha Blunt, Rudd; three sisters; Mrs. Viola Townsend, Belmond; Mrs. Ida Gruver, Cherokee; Miss Betty Blunt, Rudd; a brother, Orvie, Milford, New Jersey.
