Fred B. Miner – 1867 – July 14, 1943
FRED B. MINER, MEMBER FLOYD COUNTY BOARD, DIES; FUNERAL FRIDAY
Charles City – Fred B. Miner, 76, member of the Floyd County Board of Supervisors, died at his home in Charles City at 9 a.m. Wednesday. He had been ill about a year, in bed a week.
Mr. Miner was formerly vice president and cashier of the Citizens National Bank at Charles City for many years.
The only survivors are the widow and a son, Ronald, of Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Miner’s parents, James M and Annette Miner, were pioneers of Floyd County.Funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, the Rev. J. G. Morgan, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette, Wednesday July 14, 1943
